Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before enrolling at Robin's Private Music Centre. By submitting an application, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by them.
1. Enrolment & Registration
Enrolment is confirmed only once a completed application form has been submitted and, where applicable, the once-off registration fee has been paid. Standard Certification and Premium Certification programmes require a registration fee of N$500, payable before the first lesson.
2. Programme Duration & Fees
All structured programmes run on a 12-month development cycle. Monthly fees are payable in advance and are due by the 1st of each month, regardless of the number of lessons in that month. Fees do not include ABRSM examination entry fees, which are billed separately when a student is entered for an examination.
3. Cancellation Policy
Withdrawing from a programme before the end of its 12-month cycle incurs a cancellation fee: N$900 for Initial Grading, N$1,400 for Standard Certification, and N$1,800 for Premium Certification. Written notice of cancellation must be given to the Centre at least 30 days in advance.
4. Late Payment
Accounts unpaid for more than 14 days after the due date may result in a suspension of lessons until the balance is settled. The Centre reserves the right to charge a reasonable administration fee on overdue accounts.
5. Attendance & Missed Lessons
Lessons missed by the student without at least 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a make-up lesson or refund. The Centre will make reasonable efforts to reschedule lessons missed due to instructor unavailability.
6. Instruments & Equipment
Where the Centre provides an instrument for use during lessons, the student and guardian are responsible for reasonable care of that instrument. Loss or damage beyond normal wear may be charged to the student's account at replacement or repair cost.
7. Photography & Media Consent
Robin's Private Music Centre may photograph or record students during lessons, rehearsals and performances for use in promotional materials, including this website and social media. Guardians or adult students who do not wish to be photographed may notify the Centre in writing at any time.
8. Health, Safety & Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff and fellow students at all times. The Centre reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrolment in cases of serious misconduct, without refund of fees paid.
9. Changes to These Terms
Robin's Private Music Centre may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued enrolment after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.
